    Secret Art Show

The Secret Art Show, Spring Exhibition opens for viewing on 04 May 2012!

The first Secret Art Show was held in York in November 2010 and raised £20,000 for the MS Trust. This unique exhibition gave visitors the chance to buy a mini-masterpiece for only £45. All pieces of artwork were the same size, fitting into a CD case and were sold anonymously in aid of the MS Trust. The art was signed on the back and only at the end of the show, did people find out whose art they had bought.

The exhibition was such a success that the MS Trust decided to extend the idea to allow everyone to take part, which is why we launched the Secret Art Show online!

We held the first online Secret Art Show in June, raising an additional £11,000 in just 4 weeks. Both the York exhibition and the Summer online show attracted many highly regarded artists such as Mackenzie Thorpe, Ray Richardson and Sally Sheinman, as well as celebrities ranging from Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to Alan Bennett. They also generated substantial press coverage and we hope that the future exhibitions will be just as successful.

Our next show launches for viewing on 04 May with all art being displayed on the MS Trust's website. The sale commences at 9 am on 11 May when the art will be available for people to purchase for £45 plus P&P. If you choose to donate a piece of art to the Secret Art Show, you will be helping us to make a real difference for the 100,000 people living with MS in the UK.The Secret Art Show has now raised over £40,000 to support the work of the MS Trust; funding vital education and support for MS nurses and therapists; the most up-to-date and reliable information for people affected by MS and practical research that benefits those living with MS now.

We hope to raise £25,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is the most common cause of neurological disability in young adults, affecting 100,000 people in the UK. The MS Trust is committed to ensuring everyone affected by MS has the health information they need to maximise their quality of life and securing access for all to the specialist services they need.
